The attending physician must hold a valid Federal Drug Enforcement Administrative License to prescribe drugs. The doctor must sign a physician certification stating that the patient is likely to receive therapeutic or palliative benefits from the medicinal use of marijuana to treat or alleviate the patient’s debilitating medical condition, or symptoms associated with the debilitating medical condition. Contact a medical marijuana registration company to get connected with a qualified medical marijuana physician in Maine.
